Crowberry Consulting has recently received an award from Chorley Council in recognition of the efforts it makes to reduce the carbon footprint from its business operations. The first ever round of businesses in Chorley to receive the Net Carbon Zero Business Accreditation. In collecting this award, Becky Toal CEO said “We calculate our green house gas emissions annually and signed up to the SME Climate Hub to report on our emission scopes. Practical steps we take include promoting video conferencing with clients, public transport and eco products for our exhibitions. We are delighted to have received this award from Chorley Council.”

Crowberry Consulting have won the BSI Standards User Award: Category Environmental for delivering over a decade of ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Systems. At the BSI AGM held in London in May the team were presented with their award. The Awards recognise both makers and users of standards that can demonstrate a real impact over time. As our consultancy has provided over a decade of implementation to ISO 20121: Event Sustainability we are delighted to receive this prestigious award.
Crowberry Consulting are working in partnership with ARUP to ensure the upcoming COP26 in Glasgow achieves ISO 20121 the International Standard for events. This is on the back of the G7 in Carbis Bay in July successfully achieving the same certification. Crowberry Consulting began to work on the HMG led events in March 2020 and are providing their subject matter expertise to the teams involved. The UNFCCC climate change conference event is held on the first two weeks of November in Glasgow 2021. The team responsible for delivery has two main objectives to deliver a carbon neutral event and to achieve ISO 20121 the International Sustainable Event Management Standard.
